The Shops @ Alaba ENUGU

Our shops are designed to ensure that your life as a trader is comfortable. This starts with the space of each shop, with a minimum shop size of 35sq/m. and continues with the fittings of sockets, switches and fans in all shops. Also most shops have a height of 4 meters for adequate aircirculation when loaded with goods. The shop blocks also feature toilet facilities for shop keepers, cafeterias and drink stands to allow you basic comforts without sacrificing too much time away from your shop.

Space

Each shop is designed to have ample space for trading activites and minimal comfort for traders and their customers. The shops are 5meters wide x 7meters deep x 4 meters high, enough space to fit a 1 Bedroom Apartment or a full 40feet contain worth of goods.

Internal Amenities

All shops are equipped with ceiling fans and heat extractors by default, they also come with wall sockets and light switches pre-installed. Also stores also come standard with an office table, and 4 chairs encouraging our people to start to live reasonable lives while trading.

External Spaces

All stores have access to 1.2meters x 5meters of external display area, they also have access to a pedestrian walkway of 2meters, even top floor shops have access to a pedestrial corridor that runs through the whole market. The ground floors have Golf Cart roads that allow loads and passenger traffic across the market without human interference.

Zoning of Stores

There are 5 Zones in the Market, namely Electronics Zone 1, Electricals Zone 2, Accessories and Components Zone 3, Mobile and Computing Zone 4 and Restaurants/Instruments and Miscellaneous Zone 5. Each zone tries to ensure that related products and services are available in its space and that unrelated products are in their most suitable Zone. This creates a true international market.

Types of Stores

You can select from a wide range of store options including; regular stores, upstairs combo, mainstreet double stores, mainstreet quad stores, 1/4 blocks, 1/2 blocks, full floors, full blocks, 3 floor blocks, tower floors and 10 story towers.

Quantity of Stores

The market has a total target of 10,000 stores both upstairs and downstairs. This does not include mall stores, branded blocks and towers. This means a total single tenant store count of 10,000 stores of about 2,000 stores per zone of the market.
